Work is boring...

I'm sitting here at work. Got a whole hour left. Afterwards, I'm going to go to Penn Station. It will be my second time going their toady. I've been getting free sandwiches there. I'm going to start reading the first Harry Potter tonight. I read the first 2 books awhile ago, and don't really remember much. I downloaded the audio books, because I was never really taught how to read. It's nice to see that absolutely nobody is reading this blog. ESPN News gets really old after about the third re-run. I've seen the same news about 10 times now. Manny Ramirez wants to be traded from Boston. WHY? He seemed so happy! I wanna go home!!!

Good News, Bad News

I'll start with the bad news:

• I spent the whole day fixing my computer.
• I have work tomorrow. (Or later today, whichever way you want to look at it.)
• Nobody is reading this.
• On this date, next month, I'll be sitting in a classroom.
  

However, the good news:

• I got an Imo's Pizza today, with a free order of Cheese Bread and a free liter of Pepsi.
• I fixed my computer.

Penn Station

Had to go to work today, which was actually kind of nice because it's so hot outside. It's also kind of nice to have some dead presidents to spend. Anyway my new favorite restaurant is Penn Station. If you haven't tried it, you’re missing out. They've got the best Philly Cheese steak I've ever had there, not to mention the hand-cut fries, and the freshly squeezed lemonade. It's a tad pricey, but it’s worth every penny. Also check out there website, sign up for their newsletter, and they'll email you a coupon for a free sandwich. Can't be that! I'm probably gonna watch a movie tonight. Still haven't decided which one, maybe Scar Face. Work wore me out so I'm bout' to lie down. Later.

Friday Night Lights

This being my first Blog, I feel that it’s necessary to explain what I'm going to try to accomplish. I'm gonna name it "Random Sentences". And that's pretty much what its funna be. I'm a really bad speller, so for the sake of the readers, I run a spell check though my posts. The posts are mainly going to be for me to get stuff of my chest, pass some time, or just talk about my day. At least for you, the sentences will be complete; however, they will be in no particular order. Sorry? I'll try to get better with this whole "Blogging" thing, and soon I hope to figure out how to put pictures, and other stuff on here. With no further Freddie Adu...Welcome to "random sentences"! It felt it’s only fitting that I saw the movie, "Friday Night Lights", on a Friday night. -SPOLIER ALERT- -IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE, DO NOT READ THIS BLOG- Friday Night Lights was a hard-hitting football movie on the outside. But, on the inside, this movie did have some deeper meanings. The movie was very well made, and the DVD had some cool features. It shows how sports, specifically football, are a symbolism of life. It's hard to believe they take high school football that seriously in Texas. Here in St. Louis, High School football is no bigger than High School Swimming. The movie definitely makes you want to play Football. At some parts of the movie, you feel like you’re a player on the "MOJO". What happened to Boobie, the team’s all-state running back, makes me want to really focus on my education. Watching some of the extras on the DVD really showed how fast time fly’s. I don't know why. The movie was made the year I was born. Coincidence...I don't think so! The movie was based on a true story, which made it even more touching. I thought it was cool how the Movie didn't have your prototypical, Hollywood ending. It was almost refreshing to see the "MOJO" fall short of the State Title. However, it was nice to see on the credits that the next year, they did win it, lead by their stud running back. His name was Comer, and he reminded me of Barry Sanders. He was the tightest player on the team. He just waited for his time and then, BAM! The little dude could play! He made me want to turn my Xbox on and play some Madden or something. Overall, Friday Night Lights was a good movie. It's one that wouldn't get old the second or third time around. It's defiantly worth owning. If I wasn’t already pumped for Football season, this movie just made me crazy! It was the perfect choice after a long nights work at good ole' Pro Image. Plus, the Cardinals are like 20 games up. I caught some of the game at work, but wasn't in the mood to watch baseball. It's nice to see they beat the Cubbies though, and on a squeeze! Just saw the highlights on Sports Center, and WOW! What a game. Sorry I missed it! I saw some stat on Carpenter tonight that’s crazy. Over his last 60 innings, he's only allowed about 2 runs or something like that. That's insane! Can you say "Cy Young"? GO CARDINALS! It's late, gotta shower, and get back at it tomorrow. We all we got!
